Deer Park was designed and built by Peter Allis, Dave Thomas and Peter Clark in 1978, and has become one of Central Scotland’s leading Golf & Country Clubs. It has been host to many golfing events, some of which were the Scottish PGA Championship and was a regional qualifying course for The Open Championship.
Deer Park Golf & Country Club extends through natural parkland and is perhaps the most challenging course in the Lothian’s. A traditional parkland course, with great views over the dominating Scottish countryside, it was designed by Peter Alliss, Dave Thomas and Peter Clark. A mix of dogleg holes and strategically placed bunkers make for a good test of golf with tiered greens which are kept in great condition.
