The excellent set-up at Morley Hayes Golf Complex makes it one of the most complete golfing venues in the East Midlands. Boasting a championship-length 18-hole course, and a shorter 9-hole course this is a modern design which is specifically set up with the visiting golfer in mind. A 17 bay, all-weather, floodlight driving range is available alongside state of the art practice facilities which form the East Midlands Golf Academy. The impressive Pavilion clubhouse enjoys panoramic views over both courses as well as the surrounding Derbyshire countryside.
The championship-length Manor Course at Morley Hayes Golf Complex is a wonderful undulating parkland layout. A relatively open course that is not too penal off the tee makes it inviting with some interesting features. Well-placed water hazards that come into play around the 18 holes are complemented by greenside bunkers which can threaten to swallow up wayward strokes. The 10th hole is particularly memorable - a short par 4 with a green that is almost completely surrounded by water and requires an accurate approach.
