Milton Abbey Golf Course offers a surprisingly challenging and varied nine-hole course, in truly stunning surroundings. Whether teeing-off next to the imposing Abbey founded in 933AD or driving up fairways originally set by famed landscaper Capability Brown in the 18th Century, this is a golfing experience not to be missed! The course was designed by the late Peter Alliss, famed BBC golf commentator and golf-pro, while his son attended the nearby school. The site is easily accessed, mid-way between Blandford Forum and Dorchester, and welcomes local people or visitors during school holiday times.
