Houldsworth Golf Club founded in 1910 is a stunning example of a parkland course. Conveniently located just two miles from Stockport and five miles from Manchester city centre, Houldsworth Golf Club is easily accessible. Although Houldsworth Golf Club is relatively flat, the course offers a mixture of challenging holes. Unlucky for some, the signature hole is the 13th - a 535-yard par-5. The green is surrounded by water and makes for a very challenging approach! Then the 14th is a 162-yard par-3 called ‘Lake.’ You’ll have to carry over water to a narrow green! Houldsworth Golf Club has its very own stunning ‘Amen Corner’, which is certainly going to test all golfers! After your game, relax with a drink on the veranda and enjoy the impressive vistas across the course and the Manchester skyline.
