Stamford Golf Club is an 18-hole par-70 golf course located in Stalybridge, Cheshire. Created on Moorland and Parkland terrain, the golf club was originally established in 1901, by Scotsman, W.W. Wilson. Incorporated from old farmland, Stamford Golf Club was originally established as a 9-hole course, with buildings rented from the local farmer for a mere 15 shillings per year. Measuring at just 5701 yards, Stamford Golf Club offers enough challenge with tree lined fairways and heather lined rough.
