Offering spectacular views over the Derwent Valley, Matlock Golf Club was established in 1906 and designed by Tom Williamson. The course sits close to Matlock town which is a gateway to the Peak District National Park. Matlock has excellent practices facilities which include a 10 bay covered and floodlit driving range. Matlock also has the services of Christian Goodman as the resident PGA Professional who has a wealth of experience and can work to help improve all aspects of your golf game.
With the course sitting 850 feet above sea level, Matlock Golf Club is a joy to play golf at with spectacular views over the Peak District. Measuring 5,996 yards as a par 70, Matlock isn't for the longer hitter – it is more a test of accuracy. Along with Bentley Brook meandering through the course, many ravines, gullies and the careful placing of heather and ravines make this a good and interesting test of golf.
