Mottram Hall Golf Club is home to a stunning 18th century Georgian house and an 18-hole championship golf course which has been chosen as the venue for the 2013 PGA Seniors Championship. As part of a multi-million pound renovation, which was completed in April 2013, a new clubhouse has been built along with a brand new halfway house, refurbished golf shop and changing rooms. Mottram Hall Golf Club also provides some fantastic practice facilities including; putting greens, practice area and a driving range.
The par 72 championship golf course was designed by the international golf architect, Dave Thomas. The course is set in magnificent undulating park and woodland, with tree-lined fairways and strategically-placed bunkers all combining to offer golfers a memorable golfing experience. With straight driving a prerequisite at Mottram Hall Golf Club, golfers are advised to make full use of the driving range before stepping out on this challenging and enjoyable course.
