When you visit the Hilton Park Golf Club it is hard to believe that such beautiful surroundings can be found only 25 minutes from the busy city centre of Glasgow. The golf club is positioned amongst acres of rolling moorland and has been operating since 1928. The two golf courses The Hilton and The Allander were designed by five time Open champion James Braid and provide golfers of all handicaps with a stern challenge. Once visitors have enjoyed golf it is recommended they stop off in the clubhouse which houses 3 lounges, a dining room and bar facilities.
The Allander course is also 18 holes measuring 5487 yards and is a par 69. The signature hole on The Allander is the 5th named ‘Burncrooks’ which is a 372 yard par 4. Although shorter than the Hilton course, the slimmer fairways create more of a challenge and require more accuracy. Both golf courses are well maintained and always receive positive feedback from golfers.
