Opened in 1991, Rodway Hill Golf Club is just 2 miles from Gloucester and backs onto Highnam Woods providing panoramic views of the countryside. The clubhouse is home to the Woodpecker Restaurant which serves up three-course evening meals as well as drinks and snacks, making it perfect for visiting groups. The spacious lounge area boasts comfy leather sofas overlooking the closing holes which can be seen through the bay windows. Rodway Hill Golf Club also has a putting green and practice area to work on your skills before your round.
Rodway Golf Course is the perfect course for all abilities as low handicappers will enjoy being able to attack the course with a risk and reward game, and higher handicappers will find that the course provides plenty of challenge. The course twists its way through the tree-lined parkland which demands accurate tee shots. However, there are some holes where you can really go for it off the tee with only distance in mind. The signature par 4, 14th has a tee shot that must be threaded between two large fairway trees in order to have a shot to the green.
