Weston Super Mare Golf Club was founded in 1905, and was modernised in by 1922 Dr Alistair Mackenzie. Weston Super Mare is a traditional golf club, but has all the modern facilities you’d expect from a modern golf club including a well-stocked Pro Shop.
Weston Super Mare Golf Course is a fantastic links course that measures 6,245 yards in length. There are a number of good holes on the course, but its signature hole is the 15th, a tough par 4 that measures 458 yard in length and has been modelled on the 17th at St Andrews Old Course, par here is a very good score. The closing 3 holes do not give golfers much more relief, so you need to concentrate for the full 18 holes if you are to shoot a good score.
