Opened in 1889, Epsom Golf Club neighbours Epsom Downs Racecourse and is within a short walking distance of Epsom Downs train station. The clubhouse, built in 1893, has wood-beamed ceilings which reflect the age and history of the building. There is also a fully licensed bar which makes Epsom's clubhouse the perfect place for that post-round drink. We recommend you use the practice green before your round as the course's greens are a true test for all golfers.
Make sure your short game is in order and your wedge is set up for shots of 100 yards and under while playing Epsom Golf Course. It's an undulating terrain parkland course that rolls downhill with very little in the way of bunker hazards. In fact, only the par 4, 18th has bunkers, making it the course's signature hole. The greens are something that need to be experienced by all golfers as they're consistent and true, and offer a demanding test because of the mixture of surprising speed and undulation.
