Designed by James Braid and built in the 1920s, Kingwood Golf Club has been described as Braid’s "finest parkland course in England". The course has stood the test of time but has recently had a complete remodelling of its bunkers to adjust to the longer hitting game of today which has been viewed as a great success. Due to its high standards of quality in all aspects , it is easy to see why Kingswood Golf Club attracts golfers from all over the country. Standing at 6,904 yards from the white tees, at a par of 72, the course at Kingswood Golf Club is demanding in length making it ideal for the better golfer. With fantastic new bunkering each hole is visually impressive and testing in terms of golf. The par 3s and par 5s are the most memorable, with some unique and challenging golf holes.
