Wheathill Golf Club is situated in the tranquil countryside of Somerset in the West of England. The club has earned itself the reputation of being one of the most hospitable in the area thanks to its purpose built clubhouse that provides a great setting to enjoy a post round refreshment. In addition to this, there are also some good practice facilities on site, including an open air driving range.
Measuring just 5,597 yards this parkland course isn’t long by modern standards, but thanks to the tight fairways, small greens and water hazards it is able to defend its par very effectively. The fairways and greens are maintained to a high standard all year round, making for an enjoyable round. In addition, rather unusually the course starts and finishes with two par-3’s.
