Llandrindod Wells Golf Club was established in 1905, when it was built into the natural contouring landscape of the region. The clubhouse has its own restaurant which is positioned so that it benefits from views out over the surrounding countryside and local town. The facilities include an eight bay driving range which is floodlight for when the nights start to draw in.
The course at Llandrindod Golf Club varies, with holes ranging from open parkland to more woodland enclosed holes that threaten to punish any stray drive. It is kept in great condition throughout the year and the undulating land the course is built on can produce some exciting golf shots, such as on the par 4, 13th hole, with a difficult tee shot that has to carry a near vertical bank some 200-yards away.
