Blankney Golf Club was set up in 1902 as a 9 hole and didn’t extend to 18 holes until thirty years later. The course had a full redesign in 1986, which turned it into the fantastic course that it is today. The clubhouse is not located “on the course” but this truly reflects the clubs extensive history. The new clubhouse is modern in its fittings and elegantly furnished. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are very professional, making your pre or post round experience very relaxed and enjoyable.
Blankney is a par 72, 6638 yard parkland golf course. The course is kept in great condition which is a real credit to the greenkeepers. There are some challenging holes and good scoring ones if you can get a good drive away. It has often been said that the three starting holes are some of the hardest in the country so if you can manage a low score through them, you could well be in for a good round.
