Golf Courses in Cypress, TX

A rural community full of rice fields just a few decades ago, Cypress has evolved into one Houston's largest and busiest suburbs. This community of nearly 200,000 people has hundreds of restaurants, bars, a great local brewery and plenty of shopping, including Texas Premium Outlets and The Boardwalk of Towne Lake, which has coffee shops, spas, a fitness center and even a beach. Cypress also has plenty of golf, led by BlackHorse Golf Club, which has 36 excellent holes designed by Peter Jacobson and Jim Hardy. But it's hardly the only option that offers tee times to the public. Houston National, one of Robert von Hagge's last designs, is another great choice. And Longwood Golf Club is a good value with 27 holes offered to the public. Private clubs in the area include 27-hole Hearthstone Country Club and Sterling Country Club, designed by local architect Jeff Blume.
