Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock is the public-access layout at the beautiful 36-hole Red Rock Country Club. When you make a tee time to play here you ll not only enjoy a round filled with stunning scenery, fun dramatic holes and outstanding service, you'll also get one of the best values to be had in the Las Vegas golf realm. Both Arroyo Golf Club and the adjacent, exclusively private Mountain Course at Red Rock Country Club are Arnold Palmer designs that ramble through a master planned residential development in Summerlin, just ten or so miles from the Las Vegas Strip. Palmer s design philosophy was to showcase the natural beauty and splendor of a site, and that s the case on this course that is nestled between the landscapes of Red Rock Canyon, a famed and revered landmark in Las Vegas. Magical beauty envelops Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock country Club. The course features somewhat flat fairways, desert boundaries, dramatic water features, artful bunkering, and Arnold Palmer s trademark large, multi-tiered greens, all in a setting marked by stunning panoramic views of the surrounding canyons and mountains and the Las Vegas skyline. There s no hidden trouble at Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club. The course is straightforward and highly playable. Provided you choose the correct set of tees, you stand a good chance of shooting a good score here. Though the fairways at Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club are a joy to hit from, beware the rough it can be thick and penal when it isn t trimmed short. Regulars at the club rave about the overall improvement to the playing field since the completion of a bunker renovation project in 2022. Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club is full of fun holes. The par-3 7th features views of the Las Vegas skyline. The layout not only boasts a few exciting short and sporty par 4s, it also features par 5s that entice many players to go for the green in two. While water is not a dominant feature, it factors into play on four holes, including three tests on the back nine that require forced carries to avoid being wet. Because of some long gaps between holes, walking is not an option when you play at Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club. The club's golf carts feature an advanced GPS system to help you navigate your way through the course. In a move to improve the flow of the round, the club sometimes starts groups off for their rounds at the 7th hole. Practice facilities include a full driving range and chipping/bunker area that are located about a half mile from the clubhouse, and a putting green just outside the golf shop. The Arroyo Grill is open for breakfast and lunch. There s a reason why Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club is such a popular tee time among Las Vegas golfers it consistently delivers excellent bang for your buck and a fun day on a very interesting, well-groomed and player-friendly course.
