Recognized as one of the area’s most beautiful and challenging public courses, Heritage Golf Links offers 18 holes of pure golf. The course, originally designed by architect Mike Young and opened in 1996, underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 2025 led by Mike Riley. Currently, only the redesigned Legacy and Heritage Nines are open. The course demands accuracy and features elevation changes, uneven lies, and undulating, elevated greens, all routed around a 20-acre lake. Yardages from the tips play around 6,800 yards, the Blue Tees around 6,500 yards, and the Member Tees around 6,150 yards. Notably, homes do not come into play on any of the nines. In addition to the course, Heritage Golf Links features a lighted grass driving range with targets to simulate approach shots, a short-game area, and a practice putting green. While open to the public, annual and corporate memberships are also available. The clubhouse includes a well-stocked golf shop and the Heritage Bar & Grille. The restaurant, remodeled in 2024, offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches, appetizers, burgers, beers, and cocktails. Dining is available indoors and on the outdoor patio, both providing excellent views of the course and lake.
