Overlooking the North Channel to Ireland, Portpatrick Dinvin enjoys a temperate climate due to the Gulf Stream and is playable all year round. Situated on the south-west coast of Scotland and not far from the picturesque village of Portpatrick this course is absolutely breathtaking for golf. The Dinvin is a 9-hole par 3 course, with a mixture of rolling moorland and seaside heath sitting around 150 feet above sea level. This course offer’s spectacular views and on clear days the Isle of Man, Mourne Mountains and Mull of Kintyre can be seen. The Dinvin Course is one of Portpatrick’s best kept secrets, which is maintained to the same high standards as the 18-hole Dunskey Course. Taking about an hour to play, it is ideal for the golfer looking for a quick bit of exercise or for the beginner who does not feel up to the challenge of 18 holes. The Dinvin course at Portpatrick is perfect to hone your short game skills and tighten up your wedges.
