In the heart of the Yarra Valley and framed by the spectacular mountains of Australia’s Great Dividing Range, Heritage Golf and Country Club is less than an hour’s easy drive north-east of Melbourne and one of the most captivating private courses in Australia. Stroll over the bridge across the Yarra to Heritage Golf and Country Club’s northern half and discover a hidden treasure. The Henley course is a traditional links course and contrasts beautifully with the stadium style St John course. Weaving through wetlands and oxbow tundra carved by the river, The Henley rises alongside the Warrandyte State Forest. The roughs are as picturesque as the fairways and the rugged terrain is much more in keeping with the traditional Scottish or Irish links courses. The Henley has the traditional ‘nine holes out and nine holes in.’ This course boasts the longest par 4 in Australia and will test the most talented players. Heritage Golf & Country Club is a private golf course and please wear golf attire when visiting.
